THE LABYRINTH: A JOURNEY TO THE CENTER – Dance and OSF‘s workshop
How do we transform our fear to loose our identity, into trust for a new beginning and growth? A labyrinth is a magical single pathway of concentric curves that through a process of transformation, leads us into our center and back again. With our dancing body as a companion, moment after moment, we are going to pilgrimage into a deep journey of self-discovery, by noticing unpredictable, and sometimes subtle, sometimes loud, body messages and by following them into a dance throughout the mystery of our own labyrinth, we are going to travel deep into our core and back into the now of our renewed self.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS: BACH FLOWER REMEDIES
“Health depends on being in harmony with our Souls” – Edward Bach
Dr. Bach developed 38 Flower Remedies to help support our emotional states, which he believed were the root cause of mental and physical problems. The remedies gently restore our emotional balance, re-harmonizing negative emotions by stimulating the opposite virtues. They can be safely combined with other homeopathic or conventional treatments.
INDIVIDUAL SESSION: BODY AWARENESS
How aware are we of our physical body and its way to engage with ourselves, other bodies and the environment? How do we listen to our physical self, to its ways of moving and positioning, in order to be able to use its full potential? Our self-image is never static, it changes from moment to moment, but through time these changes become fixed and transform into habits. Some parts of us are clearly included in our self-image, others, maybe because of early traumas or emotional blocks, are excluded, limiting our range of movement, asking us an enormous and unnecessary amount of effort. With the support of different awareness tools, as tactile experiences, breathing and movement exercises, we are going to listen to our body structure, energetic component, moving aspects, bodily sensations, feelings……and redirect them into a more balanced and harmonious whole.

A DANCE CEREMONY with live music
A Dance Ceremony is a sacred journey, where our prayer is our dance, where with the moving and dancing self as a guide, we can adventure through a process of awakening and self-celebration. A Dance Ceremony is a space of awareness, where our inner life is bridged into consciousness, where the invisible becomes visible. A Dance Ceremony is an act of listening, allowing and dance with, it is an act of taking responsibilities in being true to ourselves, in being in movement and dare to be with the movement. Tools: Our awareness, our dance and our stillness, our breath, our togetherness, the circle, our singing and our music, our prayers, the moon, the arts, our physical, mental and emotional body, the sacred fire, the elements, the directions, the archetypes and our ability to surrender and willing to listen and see.
The journey is supported by the music of Danielle Roelofsen, Annelies Verselveld, Richard van Schie and Ed Spil, 3 musicians of Lijfmuziek (lijfmuziek.nl): percussion, flute, harp, hang and guitar.
